What is Mind Over Mirage- The name is a twist on the old saying, Mind Over Matter, in which intellectual powers override difficulties and problems. To me, it's about overcoming creative haziness by capturing optical phenomenon on camera. A mirage is naturally occurring and happens when light rays are bent to produce a displaced image of distant objects. What we believe we see is determined by interpretive faculties of our mind and often times our vision is blurred by the many things in life that disfigure an end goal. It is my mission to capture your vision as well as the seemingly surreal landscape in front of me every single day. Because of the various photographic opportunities and immersive video projects I’ve had through college and into early adulthood, I can say that I’m truly blessed and entirely committed to securing such surreal moments and commandeering the light rays of time with my mind firmly over the mirage.
